Pirogue - A canoe or piragua. Used by Cajuns in Louisiana's
backwaters and swamps.
These are built as a simple boat, my design is modified for more stability. Comes standard with
buoyancy foam under each ends, fiberglassed seams, and entire craft is epoxy encapsulated.
All crafts are float tested to check for leaks prior to finishing.
12 feet models can hold 1 adult with light weight gear, or 2 light adults total of 280 lbs.
14 feet models can hold 2 adults with light weight gear, total of 340 lbs.
16 feet models can hold 2 adults with medium weight gear, or 3 adults total of 400 lbs.
Design incorporated with small "rockers" fore and aft, with flat across bottom. This allows easy
maneuvering among hidden trees and shallow waters. Some have said these pirogues can almost
float on heavy dew.
Flat Skiffs - is cross between my Pirogue and Jon boat designs
Very nice looking skiff, flat bottomed just like a jon boat.
Can be rowed or powered with a 5 horsepower outboard max (standard shaft length)..
It is available in 14'.
This is classified as a two man boat. Handled much like a jon boat, except for pointy bow.
All seams are fiberglassed, buoyancy foam under seats, encapsulated in epoxy.
Jon Boats -  A broad flat bottomed skiff popular among duck hunters and fishermen alike
These wooden jon boats look just like their cousins that are made from aluminum. In fact
earlier jon boats are originally made from wood planks. What is available in jon boats sizes as
followed; from car topable 10 feet x 30 inch bottom, 10' x 36", 12' x 30", 12' x 36", to larger
trailerable 16' x 36", 16 x 48".
Please note: that the measurement is the length from bow to stern, the width is across the
bottom of the boat....
All jon boats comes standard with foam filled seats, fiberglassed seams, epoxy encapsulated
hulls.
10 feet  jon boat can handle a small outboard engine up to 5 horsepower, 12 feet models can
handle up to 10 horsepower, 16 feet models up to 15 horsepower.

MGB - An replica of Monet's garden bateau
This style of bateau seen in lily garden at Giverny near Vernon, France
A home of impressionist Claude Monet
Several photos found in a book titled  "The Secrets of Monet's Garden"
It is a very sweet little rowboat for pond or a small lake, I am very fond of this design. I built
this to special order for a lady.  I started out with 12' and reduced to 10' upon her request.
As of now this boat is available in 12' and 14' only. In either plywood or planked version.
Note: It is designed for rowing only
